Thought this might be fun, we all know that occasionally some really weird, or really smart things pop into our heads while we are out feeding.
I'll start with today's edition- Wow, my bucket carrying muscles are really getting back into shape!
Okay @TAH you do probably know more about this then I do, but I'm going to share this.
Dallas Seavey 4 time Iditarod champ had a positive drug test on his dogs last year. He has recently become a face of the sport and a favorite by many, myself included. I'm not going to go into too many...
Okay, so I know we joke about how we are really bad in the sense we convince people to get certain animals and what not. I have always said I'm part of the lucky few who haven't until now. Yesterday I was with a friend, and we went to go look at goats for her. Man, pictures can't describe how...
So I think it's appropriate for us to discuss the two men that were lost in sports yesterday morning. One amazing pitcher with plenty of talent and an amazing story. And a legendary golfer who's name will stay on a drink.
Share your memories of them. And let's honor their names.
Lately in my 110 page messaging with @LukeMeister we have had it say there's a new message but go and click and it doesn't show up, instead it continues to say there's a new message until we send one. I was wondering if anyone else was having similar issues.
Ground work is very important to do and I figured we could learn a thing or two from each other.
I'm going to write an article on it in the future too for deep exploration.
So I thought it might be fun to post that my lazy barn cat has turned into a LGC, he started helping my herd my chickens in. While he doesn't exactly guard them I thought a couple people would get a laugh out of this.
Now he needs to start actually losing weight.
I'm sad to say yesterday that a very important woman passed away. Joey Feek was an amazing country singer that had a duo with her husband. In November she entered hospice after a battle with cervical cancer.
Hey with all the other threads I figured I'd start my own. I'll be hatching 24 baby chicks. They will be different D'Anver varieties. More to come soon
Now in April, I'm excited to announce that @Colorful_Goat_Mama will also be joining me to hatch.
I'm hoping to get bees in the coming year. But I have a few questions before getting started. How far from the human activity should they be? Is it okay to have them at a vacation house? That's all for now but more to come later
After @Sumi brought the quotes for the day thread here we decided that this thread should come from TSS. Please post your funny thing here, it takes a team to get a job done.
Although I won't be there for a bit the actual show has started. Last night the first sunset of the show was beautifuland so was tonight. That is a hopeful example of the days to come. Message me if you are going, I will have some of my chickens there. Although, the odd thing for me is coming...
Hey, so I thought BYH would enjoy hearing about walking your chickens. I got an extra small chicken harness for Christmas, being the size it is perfect fit the bantams. Today I figured out how to put it on and took my Mille Fleur for a some fun in the grass. I will post pictures later, but my...
I am really excited. My dad went to CSU, we have a rental house up there and my cousin is a student, along with his friend that is up skiing with us this weekend.
Hey, I first saw this yesterday, but I think that you really should vote for Hero and Reef for dog of the year. They are talented sled dogs that have won the last two Iditarods, also the fastest two iditarods.
Here is the link and please vote for them: http://cwtv.com/world-dog-awards/
Okay, I do know this is a little early but some hatcherys start at the end of January. So, I figured I would start this thread for those of you getting chicks to answer your questions, post tips about later when they move to a coop, and for you to post pictures.
It would help if you posted the...
Please help me I am freaking out. My Patriarch Rock Bantam is having a hard time eating, not acting herself, and unable to perch. She is currently in isolation with another show bird in the garage.
A couple things about the weather just to possibly help are that it has been a cold week and the...
