Yup, you have a friend. The formula I gave you gets expensive, but then I have 3 little stinkers. LOL They are 3 weeks old now, so I bought lamb milk replacement and now I’m mixing half formula to half milk replacement. I’ll wind up with more $$$$ in milk than they are worth, good thing 2 of them are registered.

@Mini Horses Painted Peggy was off cycle vs everyone else. Other ewes have already weaned their babies.

Coconut is up to 8.02lbs from 5.28lbs Tuesday a few hours after birth. She's almost caught up to twin's birth weight of 8.82lbs. Her brother now weighs 10.46lbs. So Peggy at least has enough milk for one lamb.

Miking is easy. Unless you have an uncooperative animal. Most dairy animals like to be milked since they come to realize it relieves the pressure of a full udder. It is training them to be milked that can be difficult. Also sheep udders usually have tiny teats which can be harder to milk. I have milked colostrum from sheep and frozen it.

@Baymule knows most of this already but I've been too upset to post here. Friday evening I came home from work to discover Aria's big twin injured and Panda dead in the night pens. Panda was also partially eaten. Between weeping I took care of things. I arranged for a coyote hunter to come out multiple evenings and worked on resetting up my cameras.

Saturday as I was working on camera's I caught attacker in the act. He sperated Misty from the flock and had her down by hind leg. I narrowly avoided being bitten as I took shovel to attacker.
