I am going to be working this summer, out of town, and there will be horses at work. But Call will be a college horse again in the fall while I finish school, and after that, he will be a full time ranch horse, and I'll have to learn to live without horses, or buy a project horse. Short term, its a great deal for everyone.

Here's to new adventures!
I've been saying for the past couple years that I'm focused on running, and I'll get back to the barn some day. I love my barn fix from the horse stuff. Occasionally I miss the chores and countless hours I used to spend in the barn, but I rarely have time to miss it all.
I think it was about a month or two ago that I was approached with the opportunity to invest in a small flock of dorpers to run at my parents house. As luck would have it, I found a lady selling 8 yearling ewes, and knew that was the flock for me.
Though I won't be involved in the day-to-day stuff, I am excited for what this adventure has coming.
Bonding with their horse friend over a shared love for hay
